What is the value of landscape, how much costs the german landscape?
 
When I did some research for a new landscape story, I read again and again about the valorization of our landscape.

The landscapes are no longer pristine nature, but a value system that will be calculated. How do we perceive the quality of a landscape? How does it affect our well-being? How can we define these values in economic terms? What potential offers the nature concerning leisure, recreation, tourism and sustainable regional development? Will the protection of nature pay-off?
Are the Elbe Sandstone Mountains more valuable than the Hirtstein in the Ore Mountains? Will this economic aspect save the nature?

Welchen Wert hat Landschaft, was kostet die deutsche (Kultur) Landschaft?

Als ich für eine neue Landschaftsgeschichte recherchiert habe, las ich immer wieder von der In-Wert-Setzung unserer Landschaft.

Unsere Landschaften sind längst nicht mehr unberührte Natur, sondern eine Wertanlage und ein Wertesystem, das berechnet wird.
Wie nehmen wir die Qualität einer Landschaft wahr? Welche Auswirkungen hat die Natur auf unser Wohlbefinden? Wie definieren wir diese Werte in wirtschaftlicher Hinsicht? Welche Potenziale bietet die Natur für Freizeit, Erholung, Tourismus und die nachhaltige regionale Entwicklung? Rechnet sich dann auch der Schutz der Natur?
Ist das Elbsandsteingebirge wertvoller als der Hirtstein im Erzgebirge? Rettet dieser ökonomische Aspekt dann doch die Natur?
